While flipping through one of the many magazines I’m subscribed too, I found a small article about ATCs or Artist Trading Cards; how I did not know about these I don’t know- they’ve been around for over 10 years! ATCs are little 2.5 x 3.5 works of art that are traded, not sold (those that are sold are called ACEO- Art Cards Editions and Originals). They can be painted, stamped, hand-drawn, embellished, just about anything! So, I started looking around and found a couple of Yahoo groups for swapping ATCs and started making my own.
For my first set of ATCs I painted autumn colors onto a larger sheet of gesso’ed paper then cut it into 6 ATC cards. I named the 6 part series Autumn Colors.
You can see more under my new ATC page. I will keep adding them as I complete them! Some are a part of a series but I will only post one of each series.
